Over the past few years of being either gluten-free, paleo or FODMAP-friendly, I have found a few products and brands that work for my stomach. I’ll update as I find more or as you recommend additions! Just to clarify, my recommendations are solely based on my experiences; I am not being asked or paid to comment on these items.
Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs
4C Gluten Free Plain Breadcrumbs – The seasoned breadcrumbs are very tasty, but they have some onion and garlic powder which can impact some people. I tend to just add some oregano, basil, salt and pepper to the plain breadcrumbs to add a bit more flavor.
Gluten-Free Bread
Udi’s Whole Grain Bread – My favorite Udi’s bread is the cinnamon raisin bread, but in avoiding the FODMAP trigger of raisin I stick with the whole grain
Against the Grain Original Rolls – These make any burger or sandwich taste like a special treat. I’ve had some gluten-eating friends experience food envy over my roll before!
Gluten-Free Beer
Omission Beer – I’ve never been a big beer drinker, but when I’m having a burger and fries it just goes perfectly! (Below has all of my favorites – homemade burger and fries, Omission beer and ketchup – which seems to be OK for my stomach is small doses)
Protein Powder
Aloha Chocolate Protein Powder – I’ve struggled to find a protein powder that tastes good and actually has some protein in it :). The Aloha products are fantastic and healthy. I have a few recipes I’ll share that use the Aloha protein powder.
